True love is not real unless it is returned.
Have you ever been in love with someone so much that it kills you to know they are not yours anymore? I have. My life is like a never ending circle that always brings me back to one person. Me and that person can be friends but I still think about how much I was hurt by him. His name will go unidentified for now. I fell in love with this unidentified person when i was a Junior in High School at Riverbend, He was a Senior at Courtland. From the moment I met him we were together everyday and that was perfectly fine by me...until he broke my heart. He broke up with me and then kept leading me on for 2 years. I am still a victim in his game. I am now a Sophomore in College and have yet to get over him...You know what true love is when you lose it but not while you have it. & for all you teens out there may this be a lesson for you, Don't tell someone your dating I love you just cause you can but tell them you love them because you truly do. Nowadays the word "LOVE" is just thrown around like the word "HEY". It shouldn't be like that; using the word "LOVE" should be sacred and passionate...Its sad to think in 10 years everybody is going to use the word love for whatever they want..but then what will they call TRUE LOVE? Maybe a new word for it will be born or maybe people will lose the general definition of love and it will cease to exist!? For this scares me...If we cease to believe in love...why would we want to live?
Just remember what True Love stands for. Its not how long you've been with someone...its the feeling they give you when you are with them. Its the fact that you can be your complete self around the person you love. Love, doesn't consist of lies, it is truthful and honest. If you cannot be Truthful, Passionate, Honest or Caring for the one you love...then you do not really have these feelings for that person. Lying is not going to keep the one you love safe...if anything it will hurt them even more.
